Sarà a causa del nuovo lettore mp3, sarà il caldo, saranno gli ormoni, ma oggi ho voglia di parlare un po' dei miei adorati Pearl Jam, uno dei miei gruppi preferiti in assoluto (non posso dire "il mio preferito" perchè non posso fare questo torto ai Radiohead!). Ma soprattutto vorrei focalizzare l'attenzione su quel mito, quell'uomo divino, dalle corde vocali d'oro e dallo sguardo magnetico (nonchè gran gnoccolone), di Eddie Vedder, il leader del gruppo.
Cosa dire di lui? Un passato un po' travagliato alle spalle, esploso poi negli anni 90, è ormai un'icona del rock. I Pearl Jam sono i grandi sopravvissuti dell'epoca d'oro del grunge, which has seen birth and death of other legends like Nirvana and Soundgarden.
